Oh my gosh … Valentine’s Day is just 10 days away! I’m going to make this short and sweet … sharing Valentine’s Day cupcakes and giving away some candy to one lucky person … it’s a Quick Sweet Giveaway ! You must enter quickly … winner will be selected quickly … prize will be mailed quickly 😉
Cupid’s arrows are totally edible … made with chocolate sticks and gummy cherry hearts … can’t get much sweeter than that!
Well, I said this would be quick … better get started …
Bake your favorite cupcakes … make your favorite frosting … make candy arrows like this …
- Use a small sharp knife to make openings in two gummy candy hearts (I used cherry, but sour and cinnamon flavors are available).
- Insert hearts gently on each end of a chocolate Ovation stick. (Hint – Refrigerated chocolate sticks don’t break as easily)
- ??? I tried to create an arrow using an Ovation Break-A-Part and white candy coating. I wasn’t happy with the results … showed it anyway because I’m including a Break-A-Part in the giveaway!
Frost your cupcakes like this …
Now for the Quick Sweet Giveaway …
This sweet package includes a few Valentine’s Day candies …
- A milk chocolate and raspberry Break-A-Part … yummy!
- Chocolate coffee sticks … for making arrows!
- Red and white pearls … for decorating cookies, cupcakes, candies or ?
- Valentine Sixlets … just because you need them!
Here’s the Rules …. One entry per person – open to United State residents only – entry deadline is February 5, 2014 (11:59pm, p.s.t.)- winner will be selected (using Random.org), announced and e-mailed on February 6, 2014 – winner must respond by February 7, 2014 or a new winner will be selected.
The contest is now closed. Random.org selected comment #2 – Dee! I have sent an email to her! Thank you to everyone for entering 🙂
Here’s how to enter … Follow SweetSimpleStuff by subscribing to receive e-mails or follow by “Liking” SweetSimpleStuff’s page on Facebook. Leave a comment on this post … what will you do with the candy if you win … make treats for the kiddos, neighbors, coworkers … or just say HI 😉 Good Luck!
Thank you to SweetWorks for the candy!
