Hi! My name is Brenda. I am happily married to the Peanut Butter Man (for 38 years) and have three grown sons. I like simple! I also like sweet. I enjoy baking, cooking and crafting. As a result … some things that you will find here are edible and crafty … some are baked items … and who know what else I may come up with!
Thank you for visiting … I hope you like it here,
Brenda
P.S. If you would like to contact me, please e-mail at sweetsimplestuff@hotmail.com
I read about a company – high5pie. http://www.high5pie.com
They make pie pops. Would you be able to duplicate this?
Thanks.

Barbara,
I have not made pie pops … yet. But they are on my “list”. I did attend a demo by a Martha Stewart representative in which pie pops where made. She used traditional pie crust, cut into about 2″ circles … a wood popsicle stick … the filling was the consistency of a chuncky applesauce … everthing was held together with an egg wash … baked on parchment. Seemed pretty easy … but I haven’t done it yet! Check out Martha Stewart’s website for more info. But, I really am going to give it a try.

thank you Brenda – you are truly a gifted lady. Thank you for making me smile hugely when I opened your mail, first thing this morning and more or less still asleep. My HUGE problem, we can not get marshmallows here in south india. Have a happy weekend and try to think of somemore clever clever things.
