Peppermint S’mores
and Peppermint Marshmallow Pops
Are you done with all your holiday baking? I’m not … I am still baking, melting, mixing, etc.
This is a quick and easy treat. I am going to pack up about six pops in a cellophane bag and use them as little gifts. I will probably do the same with the s’mores.
This is what you will need …
- Peppermint Mallows (or substitute regular marshmallows)
- Graham crackers
- Candy canes (or crushed peppermint candies)
- Melted white and dark chocolate
- Lollipop sticks
This is how I crush my peppermint. I buy small candy canes and use the smooth side of my meat tenderizer to “gently” smash them. Then I open the end of the little bag and pour the candy out …
To make the s’mores …
Place a marshmallow on a graham cracker and microwave for about 10 seconds. (I did 2 at a time for 15 seconds … remember all microwaves vary) This will melt the marshmallow enough so that it will stick to the graham cracker, and will puff up the marshmallow …
Dip it in melted chocolate, lay on a wax or parchment paper lined baking sheet and sprinkle with crushed peppermint. Pop in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes to harden the chocolate up …
I told you this was fast and easy 🙂
Now for the pops …
Put sticks in the marshmallows and dip in melted chocolate … half-way or all the way. Lay on wax or parchment paper … sprinkle with peppermint or sprinkles … or leave plain (so you can double dip). Pop in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes to harden up …
This is one time that it is not a “party foul” to double dip. So dip the plain ones half-way in another color or chocolate and sprinkle with peppermint or sprinkles …
Easy peasy !!!
These look wonderful!
